$18/per person for dinner.  You do not have to eat to attend, but the food purchases are solely what pay for our meeting room-regardless of the venue, so we strongly encourage you to eat with us this evening. We also need an accurate count of who is attending, and eating, so please RSVP to cecelia@nwteaparty.com.

Please join us next Tuesday, December 27th for our Christmas meeting.  Special Guest Speaker and 9/11 survivor Dona Marron Garcia, along with her friends Debra Scott-Brown and Lakendra Lewis, will be sharing Dona’s inspirational story of hope, forgiveness, faith and courage. Dona was in New York City that day to visit with family and friends and was in the lobby of Tower 2 when the first plane hit.

Don’t miss this opportunity. Dona has an incredible story and amazing photos to share. It is important for all of us to remember this horrific day in our Nation’s history, but also to discover how to move forward in hope and faith.

We be taking donations for our local children’s emergency shelter, THE ARK.  The Ark is the only licensed facility within an 80-mile radius that is contracted by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to provide emergency shelter and assessment services for the children who have been physically abused, sexually abused or neglected by parents or guardians.  We ask those who are able to bring an item for our collection box for the Ark  For a list of items used by the Ark, click here.
